STOP DIETING AND START EATING

There are so many foods our bodies need on a daily basis that there is no reason to ever be hungry.

I teach my clients how to eat real food anytime, anywhere.

True story…

I did not know how bad I felt until I started feeling great. It turns out the old saying “we are what we eat” is absolutely correct. Learning to decipher misleading food labels and actually educating myself on the ingredients allowed in our foods was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Eliminating industrialized ingredients from my diet has changed everything about me: my skin, my body, my energy and even my emotional well-being.

Counting calories is so 1980…

Functional medicine doctors and others like me who have discovered through their own health struggles know that all calories are not created equal. Today more and more studies have evidence that it’s actually about watching chemicals instead of counting calories.

The number one reason diets fail is...

Diets are simply not sustainable. We are social creatures. We want and need to be able to attend family functions and business lunches. We want to be able to travel for business and pleasure while maintaining our commitment to clean healthy eating. It is not practical or fun to take your prepackaged diet meals with you. This is why part of my program addresses dining out and travel strategies. I teach you how clients have access to me so that there is constant reinforcement.

Stop believing the lies…

One of my favorite things to do at my speaking engagements is to get a volunteer from the audience to come up and read the ingredients on a diet frozen pizza (without a dictionary). OMG, it is hysterical!!! Not only can they not pronounce most words, but they also have no idea what they mean or what they do to the body.

Scary…

We all believe that spending extra money on “healthy food products” ensures us the basic benefits of losing weight and feeling better. Unfortunately, this is just not the case. The diet industry’s first responsibility is to make food companies profitable. Ironically, they produce some of the most “unhealthy foods” under the label of “healthy foods." In essence, the diet industry feeds your failure – not your success. It's time to take back your power and be your own health advocate.

Diet industry facts…

  • The weight loss industry reached 71 billion in 2019

  • 45 million Americans invest in weight loss products each year.

  • 95% of diets fail

  • Prepackaged diet meals contain inflammatory oils and chemicals

  • Artificial sweeteners used in diet foods can actually make you sick, fat and hungry.
